Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Paro — Flora Orientation
Welcome, hotel check-in, evening lecture on Bhutan's floral ecosystems and expected highlights.

Day 2: Paro Valley — Riverside Flora
Guided walk along Paro Chhu identifying riparian plants, ferns, and early-season wildflowers.

Day 3: Rhododendron Walk — Chelela Forest
Full-day forest immersion through a corridor of 15+ rhododendron species at 3,500–4,000 m.

Day 4: Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Dochula rhododendron garden visit; orchid search en route to Punakha.

Day 5: Mo Chhu Riverside — Subtropical Flora
Lower-altitude walk through subtropical belt; identify banana wild relatives and bamboo species.

Day 6: Drive to Bumthang — Medicinal Herb Tour
Afternoon visit to a traditional healer's farm; learn about Sowa Rigpa (Bhutanese medicine).
